Toshiba not only introduced the world’s thinnest 10″ tablet, the Excite X10, at CES 2012, but they also had some prototype tablets on display as well. It’s unclear at this point if they’ll ever see the light of day outside the show floor, as they could have been present just to gauge interest from the attendees. The prototypes on display included a massive 13.3″ HD tablet (could run Android or Windows 8), 5.1″ widescreen tablet with 21:9 aspect ratio, 7.7″ AMOLED tablet (like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE), and a 10.1″ waterproof Android Honeycomb tablet with wireless charging capability. In any case, it’s always interesting to see what a company is up to with their prototypes/concepts.
