T-Mobile was scheduled to be the first of the four major carriers in the U.S. to release the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android smartphone. Unfortunately, Magenta released a statement today to acknowledge a delay due to issues with inventory deliveries. The highly anticipated flagship handset was originally announced with an online sale date of April 24th, however, that’s now been pushed back to the 29th. As far as I can tell, the in-store launch date is still set for May 1st.

Official Statement from T-Mobile:
We know customers are really looking forward to getting their new Samsung Galaxy S 4 soon. However, due to an unexpected delay with inventory deliveries, the Galaxy S 4 will not be available on www.T-Mobile.com as planned on Wednesday, April 24. Instead, online availability is expected to begin on Monday, April 29. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working with Samsung to deliver the device to T-Mobile customers as soon as possible.
