After Sony initiated the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update process for the Xperia P, Xperia go and Xperia E dual today, users of other Xperia smartphones from 2012 must be wondering when their respective devices will see similar upgrades. Back in December, Sony mentioned the Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia ion and Xperia acro S would be updated in Q2 of 2013. With the quarter fully underway, it appears Sony still plans to make good on its promise. The four devices will apparently be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean beginning in late May.
