Another day, another Samsung Galaxy S4 Active leak. This time, we have both photos and video of the rugged version of the GS4 Android smartphone. Like the earlier images revealed, the new shots and video of the GT-19295 Active show a device sporting an industrial design with exposed screws, a metallic finish and rubber padding along the edges. This brightly colored handset is meant to withstand extreme conditions, as it’s shockproof, dustproof and waterproof. The previous tipster provided a screenshot which pegged this one with either a Snapdragon S4 Pro or 600 quad-core processor, but the new leakster claims it’s actually much less powerful. The S4 Active purportedly runs on a Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core chip. It’s possible Samsung has a few test device out there running different hardware, so we’ll have to wait for a future leak or official word to find out which will make it to market. The Active also has an 8 megapixel rear camera and it’s running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Check out the short video demo above and images below.
