Samsung re-unveiled the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet at its “Meet the New Way” press conference in New York City today. The revamped WiFi tablet will be available in the U.S. starting tomorrow, August 16, at a price-point of $499 for the 16GB model and $549 for the 32GB model.
As announced last week, the redesigned Galaxy Note 10.1 now features the following specs: a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800) display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, 16/32/64GB storage configurations, microSD card slot, an accelerometer, digital compass, light sensor, gyroscope, 7,000mAh battery, and the S-Pen stylus. All that in an 8.9mm thin body weighing just 597-600g, depending on the model. On the software-side, the GN10.1 offers Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung’s TouchWiz user experience,a Multiscreen feature for true multitasking, S Note, S Planner, Crayon physics, Adobe Photoshop Touch, Polaris Office, Smart Stay, Pop Up Play, AllShare Play, AllShare Group Cast, Music Hub, Game Hub, Learning Hub, Readers Hub, Video Hub, Media Hub and Google services.
