Samsung has unleashed details on their latest System-on-Chip (SoC) that will debut in the first half of next year. The Samsung Exynos 5250 features two Cortex-A15 chips clocked at 2GHz.
The 2GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, manufactured using a 32nm-low power HKMG process, is said to have twice the performance capabilities and four times the graphics performance of the current 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, also from Samsung. The newly revealed chipset supports stereoscopic 3D displays and a display resolution of up to 2560×1600 (WQXGA) – incredible.
The Exynos 5250 goes into mass production for high-end Android tablets in Q2 of 2012.
