There are many names floating around for the Android-powered smartphone pictured above/below. It was originally known as the Droid HD, but now it’s being debated whether it’s the Motorola Spyder or Droid Razr. Either way, it’s packing some serious specs.
For starters, a source claims it has the first 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED display. It’s also reported to feature a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Gorilla Glass and Kevlar casing with splash-guard coating, 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video capture, an “HD” front-facing camera, and support for 4G LTE. A previous rumor had this handset measured in at around 9mm thick.
Like the Atrix 2, it will support Motorola’s Webtop environment and should be compatible with the Lapdock 100 we saw earlier today. The Droid Razr/Spyder is believed to be headed to Verizon Wireless in time for the holidays.
