Following yesterday’s announcement regarding the NoDo update for the T-Mobile HTC HD7, the Dell Venue Pro is also in the midst of getting the latest Windows Phone 7 upgrade with copy and paste functionality. Announced via Twitter, LionelatDell, Dell’s lead blogger, confirmed that the Venue Pro will be receiving the upgrade starting today. According to a series of tweets from the blogger, users will receive Microsoft’s NoDo update first, then later on Dell will release their own update to tackle a number of bugs. No word on when we’ll see the latter update, but stay tuned to this post, as we’ll update it when we find out more.
Note: After you receive an update alert, you will have to sync your handset to the Zune software on your computer. It will likely take between 20-50 minutes to complete.
