Verizon’s device management system revealed a couple of upcoming Windows Phone 8 and Android smartphones, the Nokia Lumia 822 and HTC 6435, respectively.
The former will be available in white/grey and it’s essentially the Verizon 4G LTE variant of the recently announced Lumia 820. You may have heard this one referred to as the Nokia Atlas in weeks prior. Through previous leaks, we learned that the HTC 6435LVW is a competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note II and it’s rumored to have a 5-inch 1080p HD display and Snapdragon S4 processor. Phablet fans on Verizon will rest easy knowing they will have another choice besides the awkwardly designed LG Intuition.
It’s difficult to predict release time-frames based on leaks, since carrier plans often change from week to week, but handsets that emerge on the DMS typically launch a few weeks later.
