HTC is holding a press conference on Tuesday, February 19 in New York just prior to the start of MWC 2013. It’s likely that the Taiwan-based company will announce the highly rumored and leaked M7 Android smartphone. This lines up with a recent rumor that the M7 would be announced on the same date, but in London. It’s possible HTC is planning simultaneous launches for its upcoming flagship handset, as the M7 is expected to see a wide release on numerous carries around the globe. In the US, a reliable tipster has confirmed the device for Verizon, AT&T and Sprint while leaving the door open for T-Mobile as well.  The HTC M7 reportedly features a 4.7-inch 1080p FHD “SoLux” display with a pixel density of 468 ppi, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13-megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2,300 mAh battery. As for software, expect Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0.
