We’ve already seen in-the-wild photos of the upcoming HTC M7 Android smartphone with the upgraded Sense 5.0 user interface, which were then followed by a picture of the Verizon HTC Droid DNA running a leaked ROM with the same UI. Now, we have a few screenshots of the upcoming Sense 5 update to drool over as we wait for official news from HTC – MWC 2013, anyone? It seems HTC is finally ready to take a new direction with its custom interface, as the screenshots of the new lockscreen and home screen reveal a cleaner design that favors minimalism more than ever. It’s unclear whether there will be traces of Sense 4+ remaining in the refreshed UI, like the familiar clock/weather combo widget, but what we’ve seen so far looks quite elegant and we can’t wait to see the final build on new handsets this year.
