The upcoming HTC M7 Android smartphone with the new Sense 5.0 user interface was previously rumored for Verizon and Sprint in the US, however, a reliable source now claims we can add AT&T to the list. Serial leakster evleaks confirmed on Twitter that the beastly handset will be released on the top three carriers in the nation: Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. The jury is still out whether we’ll see it land on T-Mobile, but it sounds like HTC is preparing to launch the device on as many carriers as possible, a strategy we haven’t see for quite some time from the Taiwan-based mobile phone manufacturer. Rival Samsung has had much success by launching its Galaxy S, S II, S III and Note II smartphones on all four carriers over the past few years and the pending Motorola X Phone is rumored to do the same later this year, so it’s not surprising that HTC wants to follow suit. Carrier exclusivity restricts far too many consumers from acquiring their first option, so hopefully this news turns out to be true.

HTC M7 specs: 4.7-inch “SoLux” display with 1080p resolution and a pixel density of 468ppi, Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera (f/2.0 lens), 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,300mAh battery, Beats Audio technology support, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.x Jelly Bean with Sense 5.
