The recently announced Samsung Galaxy Note II is heading to AT&T, as confirmed by the screenshots above. Designated with the SGH-I317 model number, the AT&T version of the Galaxy Note 2 is “virtually identical” to the global variant – it doesn’t even seem to have the carrier’s branding on it, at least not at this point. Like the original, the massive AT&T-bound handset features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280×720) and Samsung’s in-house Exynos 4412 quad-core 1.6 GHz processor. It apparently received benchmarks scores of 5912 on Quadrant and 13551 on AnTuTu – beating the likes of the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III.
While we don’t have an exact release date for the AT&T Galaxy Note 2, the tipster seems to think it will launch “very soon.” Also, the source mentioned Galaxy Note II variants for T-Mobile, Sprint (SPH-L900) and Bell Canada, but no proof was provided. Unfortunately, there’s no word on a Verizon model yet.
UPDATE: the Galaxy Note II is coming to Verizon too!
