While the Samsung Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ is in the midst of being updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Google Nexus 7 tablet is now being upgraded over the air to Android 4.1.1 (build JRO03C). The file size is just 12.6MB, so it’s likely to be a simple maintenance and bug fix update more than anything else, but maybe we’ll also be treated to a surprise performance boost. Nexus 7 users can trigger the update manually through the settings menu or wait for it to arrive OTA in the coming days.
