UPDATE 2: It’s official, Google announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the Nexus 7 Tablet today.

The wait is nearly over as the Google I/O 2012 developers conference kicks off tomorrow, June 27, with the day 1 keynote starting at 9:30AM PDT (12:30AM EDT). You can view all the action via live stream on your desktop at developers.google.com/io or on your smartphone/tablet by downloading the Google I/O 2012 Android app. Google is expected to announce the upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update and a 7-inch tablet, codenamed Nexus 7.
