The Verizon Motorola DROID 3 has an 8 megapixel camera that’s capable of recording video in 1080P HD. Below, you’ll find a few sample photos and video recordings taken with the camera/camcorder. The first video is in 1080P HD while the latter is in 720P HD. Aside from my shaky camerawork, I was pretty impressed with the video quality. The footage was for the most part crisp, bright lighting conditions didn’t cause the picture to fluctuate, and colors were represented quite well. Images were also solid outdoors, but it takes longer than we would normally like to snap a photo. Unfortunately, we’re seeing a strange blue hue on indoor photos when using the flash feature – we’ll continue to test this and make final remarks in the full DROID 3 review.
