The Motorola Droid X2 from Verizon Wireless offers more than just raw power with its Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor. It also features an 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability. In the following video, we check out the camera’s features and settings. As you will see, there are a number of software options available at your disposal, like special effects and post-processing image editing. So far, we’re enjoying the camera’s picture-taking ability. The camcorder isn’t too shabby either, as it shoots HD video in crisp quality. The frame-rate can stutter from time to time, but overall, it’s quite good for being packaged in a smartphone. We also dig the multiple microphones for recording under various conditions. Check out the camera features in the video below, then view an HD video recording sample and test pictures.
