When the Google Nexus 7 tablet launched as the first device to come pre-loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, accessories were surprisingly scarce as only a flip cover was available to consumers. Thanks to Nordic Hardware, however, several items from the tablet’s upcoming accessories lineup have leaked.
It seems users willy finally be able to put those POGO pins on the side of the Nexus 7 to use as the official desktop dock is listed with a release date of August 24 and pricing set at $49.99. It’s supposedly “perfectly-angled” for optimum media consumption, and it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack for output to external speakers and a micro USB charging port on the back. As for cases, a premium leather cover will be available in four different colors on August 31 for $39.99 and the previously released standard TPU flip cover will soon be available in six total color options.
