Rovio Posts Angry Birds Star Wars Gameplay Trailer, Reveals Lightsaber and AT-AT Walker (Video)

Rovio is still planning to release Angry Birds Star Wars for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Kindle Fire, Mac, PC and Windows 8 on November 8th, but today the developer teased its fans by posting the first gameplay trailer.

The video is short, but it does give us a glimpse of what we can expect from the new spin-off of the series. The red and pink birds, decked out as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, respectively, take center stage in the clip as they reveal new special moves in two different Star Wars-themed stages. The former wields a lightsaber to destroy its surroundings while the latter takes out a huge AT-AT Walker with blasts of laser beams. Can’t wait to see what Rovio has planned for Han Solo and Chewbacca!
