Rovio just released Angry Birds Star Wars for Android, Windows Phone 8 and iOS devices. In the video above, we review the new game on the Google Nexus 7 Android tablet. It’s actually quite fun as it brings new aspects and gameplay mechanics to the series. The game still revolves around launching birds at evil pigs and structures, however, all the characters and levels are now Star Wars-themed. That means you can expect to see such characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewie, R2-D2, C-3PO, Obi-Wan, Darth Vader and even Stormtroopers. Levels include familiar environments like Tatooine, Hoth, Dogobah, and the Death Star. The Millennium Flacon even makes a cameo! Of course, it wouldn’t be Star Wars without being able to use a lightsaber and the powers of the force as well.
