All four major U.S. carriers announced second quarter availability when the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android smartphone was initially unveiled. T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint recently revealed plans to begin selling the flagship device during the last week of April. Verizon Wireless, on the other hand, has remained rather quiet as its rivals make headlines with their respective release dates – that is, until now. While we still don’t have an exact date, Verizon tweeted earlier tonight that its Galaxy S 4 would arrive sometime in May and more information would be available soon. A recent leak pegged May 30th for the release of Big Red’s GS4, so that could explain why the largest wireless carrier in the nation has been coy about the matter compared to its competitors.
