Verizon teases HTC Thunderbolt, lightning strike countdown

Verizon released a short teaser for their upcoming HTC Thunderbolt, an Android-powered smartphone that will run on Big Red’s 4G LTE network. Pretty self-explanatory, but they basically leave us counting lightning strikes to show that it’s coming really soon. Although, the implication that the kid gets struck by lightning is a bit over the top if you ask us – but hey, at least we get to brush up on our Spanish counting skills. Oh, and rumor has it the Thunderbolt is all set for a Valentine’s Day (February 14) release.

Update: here’s the latest HTC Thunderbolt ad from Verizon, featuring more lightning! Also, check out our hands-on with the device and an early unboxing.
