Verizon subscribers are eagerly waiting for the HTC Thunderbolt, also known as the Incredible HD and Mecha, since it will be Big Red’s first 4G LTE Android smartphone. We recently saw evidence that HTC plans to announce the handset during CES 2011, so it’s not surprising to see some sweet press shots leaked in advance. Droid-Life was able to get their hands on a dozen pictures showing the Thunderbolt in all its glory. It’s definitely modeled after HTC’s other 4.3″ screened devices, but with some added polish. Notice the kickstand is much thicker and there seems to be a speaker grill behind it (hopefully not just for show). Also, the kickstand says “with Google,” so we’re crossing our fingers that this means it won’t be preloaded with Bing customizations. Like the EVO 4G, this phone also sports a front-facing camera.
