A press shot for the upcoming HTC Droid DNA (ADR6435 Deluxe) smartphone for Verizon Wireless has emerged via evleaks on Twitter. Although previous reports mentioned a November launch, the source of the new image claims the handset will be released in time for the holidays in December. Unfortunately, the tipster wasn’t able to confirm the specs, but rumors indicate that the Droid DNA will sport a 5-inch 1080p FHD Super LCD 3 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity, 2500mAh battery and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+. Aside from the bump in battery, those specs closely align with the HTC J Butterfly, which was officially announced in October for KDDI in Japan. Samsung could be launching a competing device in early 2013 as well.
