It’s October 10th, and while that date may not be significant to Verizon Wireless, Sprint or AT&T users, it certainly has some meaning to many T-Mobile customers. Today is the day you can officially order the HTC Amaze 4G and Samsung Galaxy S II from T-Mobile’s website. The former costs $259.99 and the latter runs at $229.99 – both with new/renewing two year agreements. The Android handsets will be available in T-Mobile retail stores starting October 12th.
The Amaze 4G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch qHD Super LCD display, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera (1080p HD video capture), 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 1730mAh battery, supports T-Mobile’s 4G network and it runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0. It’s available in either black or white color options.
The T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy S2 (product page) features a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 1850mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage and it runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with TouchWiz 4.0.
