The T-Mobile G2x and T-Mobile G-Slate, the US variants of the LG Optimus 2X and Optimus Pad, are now rumored for an April 20 release date, according to a source close to the situation. The G2x should have a 4″ WVGA display, 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor, and robust HDMI-out features. The G-Slate sports an 8.9″ display (3D enabled), 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, front-facing camera, built-in gyroscope, and 32GB of storage memory. We should expect an official announcement at CTIA Wireless in Orlando next week (we’ll be there!). Let’s hope the rumor proves to be true and that it’s coming sooner rather than later.
