Square Enix sure took their sweet time to bring Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light to the Android platform. Originally scheduled to arrive in November of 2011, SE finally released the mobile Tomb Raider game for Android, however, it’s currently an exclusive for Sony Xperia-branded devices. If your smartphone does not fit the bill, fret not, as “exclusives” on Android are typically temporary and last about a month or so before other handsets begin receiving support.

Lara Croft: Guardian of Light is an over-the-top, third-person dual-stick shooter that received high praise in the past when it appeared on Xbox 360 (XBLA), PS3 (PSN) and the iPhone. Hopefully, it’s not too late to achieve the same accolades on Android. Read on for details and hit up the Google Play Store if you have an Xperia device.
