Last week, a leaked Sprint document listed a release date of April 15 for the upcoming LG Viper 4G LTE Android smartphone. In the latest leak, however, it seems Sprint has updated their systems and pushed back the date to April 22. Sprint hasn’t revealed the official release date yet, so we’ll have to wait and see which of the leaked dates makes the final cut. Customers can pre-order the affordable $100 device starting tomorrow, April 12.
The Viper 4G LTE features a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 4″ WVGA display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, 5 meapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, NFC and Google Wallet support, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 1700 mAh battery. It will be launched with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
