Sprint is set to release the LG Optimus G Android smartphone on November 11 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. Pre-orders will begin earlier in the month on November 1st. The Optimus G features a 4.7-inch WXGA (1280 x 768) True HD IPS Plus display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad-core Krait processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and support for Sprint’s blossoming 4G LTE network. As for software, it will initially launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but we’re pretty sure an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean won’t be too far behind. LG enhancements include: QSlide Function, QuickMemo, Live Zooming, Time Catch Shot, Dual Screen Dual Play and Icon Personalizer.
