Sprint flipped the switch to its 4G LTE network in some additional markets today. Subscribers of the Now Network can officially access lightning-fast LTE data speeds in the following areas: Boston and Framingham, Massachusetts; Austin and Bryan/College Station, Texas; Columbia, Tennessee; Fort Wayne, Indiana, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; Emporia, Kansas; and Western Puerto Rico (including Aguadilla, Isabela, Cabo Rojo, Mayagüez). After launching its 4G LTE network in July 2012, Sprint now covers 58 total markets thus far in 2013. Sprint clearly has some catching up to do in regards to its competition in Verizon and AT&T, but progress is certainly being made and it’s bound to speed up as the year goes on.
