The Sony Xperia Ion has been unveiled for AT&T’s 4G LTE network at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. The PlayStation certified handset runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and sports a 4.6-inch HD (1280 X 720) display, 12 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R sensor, and 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It also carries a IP57 waterproof rating, allowing it to be submersible up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The Xperia Ion will be available in Q2 2012 for an undisclosed amount.
