While US residents are still awaiting the release of the HTC EVO 3D and LG Thrill 4G, Japanese consumers already have access to numerous 3D toting Android smartphones, like the Sharp Galapagos 003SH 3D and LYNX 3D SH-03C. It appears Japan can’t get enough of the technology as NTT Docomo will be launching yet another phone with some 3D flavor. Unlike their previous phones, the Sharp Aquos SH-12C Android smartphone brings higher-end specs and dual-cameras for 3D recording. Features include: a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 4.2″ qHD 3D-capable display with 540 x 960 resolution, dual 8 megapixel cameras for 720p 3D recording, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of ROM, and it will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with some customizations. The SH-12C is expected to hit Japan’s shores on May 20th.
