Sharp 6.1-inch WQXGA 2560×1600 IGZO Smartphone Display Prototype Eyes-On at CES 2013 (Video)
Sharp displayed its 6.1-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) IGZO mobile display prototype at CES 2013. That’s the same resolution found on the 10-inch Nexus 10 Android tablet, but in a much smaller display size, which translates to a pixel density of nearly 500ppi. Keep in mind, Sharp showed off its 5-inch 1080p “prototype” display just months prior to HTC launching the Droid DNA smartphone with it, so we may see this 6.1″ super high definition screen in phablets by Fall 2013.
