Samsung Windows Phone 7 Developer Unit Unboxed

During the past week, developers have been getting their creative mitts on Windows Phone 7 prototype units from Samsung. ZDNET and SlashGear have received developer phones of their own, and they’ve both been kind enough to provide an unboxing experience with the rest of the world. The box has the same form factor as the HTC HD2 packaging.

Microsoft has left their imprint here; notice the “developers, developers, developers!!” motto and the “7″ symbol on the sides of the box. Inside the packaging comes a micro USB cable, A/C charger, headphones and of course, the handset. Oddly enough, a treat in the form of a piece of hard candy is included as well. Although the Samsung device is just a prototype, it’s still cool to see what goes on behind the scenes. Check out the unboxing videos below and stay tuned for more posts on Windows Phone 7.
