The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 that we went hands-on with at CTIA 2011 was only an early prototype and was actually quite thick in comparison to the thinner model we’ll be seeing in stores. Luckily, the folks at NewGadgets had a chance to take the official 8.6mm thick Galaxy Tab 8.9 for a spin in Germany. Check out the video below.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an 8.9″ 1280 x 800 WXGA display, a dual-core 1GHz application processor, 3 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, and runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb with TouchWiz UX (4.0). The exciting aspect about the hardware is that it’s just 8.6mm thick and fairly light at 470 grams.
