Add March 15 to the list of possible launch dates for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S IV (GT-I9500) flagship Android smartphone. An earlier report pegged March 22 for the announcement and April 15 as the release date. Now we’re hearing the unveiling event and subsequent release plans have both been moved up a week, respectively. Invites for the unpacked press conference should start appearing on the Web immediately after MWC 2013. The Galaxy S4 will initially hit stores in Europe and Asia in April, followed by the US, Australia and Africa in May or June. The device will be available in white and black color options. Galaxy S IV Accessories, like the Flip Cover, Clear Cover, Protective Cover, Protective Pouch, Extra Battery Kit, Wireless Charging Kit, HDTV Adapter and Headset, are due in week 15 (April 8-14).
The Samsung Galaxy S IV will reportedly feature an Exynos 5 Octa 8-Core processor, Mali-T658 8-Core GPU, 4.99-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED Display, 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording at 30FPS, 2 megapixel front-facing camera with 720p HD video recording, and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
