The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Android tablet has made its first in-the-wild appearance, thanks to an image leak from an Italian tech blog. The new photo, which comes one month prior to the device’s official unveiling at MWC 2013, confirms the authenticity of the previously leaked flyer from a couple days ago. From what we can tell, the white Galaxy Note 8 pictured above basically looks like a super-sized version of the highly praised Galaxy Note II smartphone, or phablet, as some prefer to call it. The 8-inch tablet is clearly designed to be used primarily in portrait mode with the 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and speaker grill placed right at the top and the same button layout, a physical home key and capacitive back/menu buttons, as its smaller 5.5-inch sibling along the bottom. The 5 megapixel shooter and Samsung branding on the rear are also oriented for portrait use in mind. For more photos and a refresh on the rumored specifications, head on past the break.
