Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet to be Unveiled at MWC?

The Samsung Galaxy Note may not fit the bill as an Android smartphone for most due to its massive 5.3-inch display, but what if it was significantly enlarged and sold as an Android tablet? Enter the “Galaxy Note 10.1,” a mystery device that was mentioned on an official invite to the Samsung Developer Day conference, which will be held at MWC 2012 in Barcelona later this month. It doesn’t appear to be a typo either, since both the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1 get a mention. Plus, Samsung also put out a casting call for early February in an effort to recruit a “teen student” to play the role of a Galaxy Note 10.1 user in a commercial. The character’s job was to “record, take pictures, and edit” with his Galaxy Note 10.1 in the ad.

It seems we could be on the cusp of another 10.1″ Galaxy Tablet unveil, but this time equipped with the same S Pen (pressure sensitive capacitive stylus) integration that makes the smaller Galaxy Note so unique. Could the GN 10.1 be the successor to the Galaxy Tab 10.1? If so, it’s rumored to be accompanied by a powerful 2GHz dual-core Exynos processor. MWC is less than two weeks out, so stay tuned!
