Samsung is planning to introduce a new Galaxy Mega line consisting of two Android smartphones with massive displays that purportedly trump the current 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 (GT-I9152) and Galaxy Mega 6.3 (GT-I9200) are rumored to sport 5.8-inch and 6.3-inch screens, respectively.
This could explain why multiple sources have pegged the upcoming Galaxy Note III with contrasting display sizes, ranging from 5.9 to 6.3 inches, over the last few months, as there might have been some confusion with several phablet-sized devices in the works. According to the unnamed source, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be available in white around the week of May 27 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will come in black and white color options around the week of June 17.
