
While at Sprint’s big CTIA event, we found a Samsung Epic 4G that happened to have the latest Android 2.2.1 update installed. Build EC05 was released over the past week, and it finally brings a functioning version of Froyo to the Epic 4G. Other new features include: the ability to install apps to storage card, improved Bluetooth support, Flash Player 10.1 support, GPS fixes, and the addition of Sprint ID packs. We found a representative to explain the newly added Sprint ID packs. While the fast-switching theme packs are helpful for beginners, advanced users will probably consider them to be bloatware. However, it should be noted that they can be customized beyond their preset themes. Check out the video below.

- Released in stages with 100% of devices having received the update within 4 days. Devices on releases other than DI18 or EB13 may take longer to receive the update.
