Samsung has announced pricing and availability for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Android tablets for the US market.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600) PLS display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8/16/32 GB storage configurations, a 3 megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 4000mAh battery, and it runs the TouchWiz UX atop Android 4.0.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) sports a 1GHz dual-core processor, 10.1″ WXGA display, 3 megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB storage configurations, 7000mAh battery, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The new Galaxy Tab 2 models will be available from various retailers including Best Buy, Amazon, Tiger Direct and more. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is available to preorder now and will be released on April 22 for $249.99. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available to pre-order on May 4 with a release scheduled for May 13 at $399.99.
