Samsung was loud and clear when they confirmed that they would not be announcing the Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress 2012 in late February, but how does late March sound? The Korean electronics manufacturer started sending out invites for a special March 22 press event in France, though they did not disclose which device would be unveiled. Since the Galaxy S III is Samsung’s next flagship model, an unveiling in France seems a bit strange. We could actually be looking at an invite for a different device. That being said, a late March announcement with April or May street date makes a lot of sense. Hopefully, we’ll find out soon enough if this is the date to circle on our calendars.
