After the success of Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Space, it appears Rovio will release yet another spin-off of the series, but this time from the perspective of the pigs instead of the birds. According to Pocket-lint, the new game will still feature the familiar catapult and destructible structures, although this time you will be playing as pigs protecting the stolen bird eggs. Like with the birds in the current games, there will be a variety of playable pig characters – each with a special skill.
One would assume this will be more of a defensive title in which the pigs protect the eggs from incoming bird attacks. Wouldn’t it be interesting if we could build the structures around the pigs ourselves? The Angry Birds vs Angry Pigs game is expected to be released later this year, possibly by Christmas time, for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad).
