As you know, the HTC One X comes in two configurations depending on location/carrier. The global variant rocks Nvidia’s well-known Tegra 3 quad-core chipset, while AT&T’s version is equipped with Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor in order to support 4G LTE connectivity. Many in the US have expressed concern over this discrepancy, but the following benchmarks should help ease such fears. In the screenshots below, you can see that AT&T’s HTC One X scored a whopping 4,952 in quadrant and blew away the Tegra 3-powered Asus Transformer Prime Android tablet in Vellamo. Keep in mind these our preliminary benchmarks of an HTC One X that’s likely running software that hasn’t been finalized just yet. It will be interesting to compare the two versions of the One X once they’re finally released.
