Check it out, the Motorola Droid Bionic has been spotted on a Best Buy promotional ad, which was leaked earlier today. The first line reads: “With the ferocious force of Verizon 4G LTE, the Droid Bionic is an all-powerful, unstoppable machine.” If that doesn’t scream “buy me,” I don’t know what does.
With the attention the unreleased Droid Bionic is getting these days, you would think it’s reached some sort of celebrity status. We suppose that’s what happens when a phone takes 7 months to release after being announced. During that span, it received a hardware, and likely software, makeover to better compete with AT&T’s Motorola Atrix 4G; and it will be the first dual-core Android with 4G LTE capability for Verizon Wireless’ smartphone lineup. Of course, there’s always a chance the August 4th release date won’t pan out as listed in Verizon’s database, but we’ll have to wait and see. The emergence of marketing material certainly doesn’t hurt.
