LG released a generic teaser video for its upcoming CES 2013 press conference, scheduled for January 7th at 8AM PT. The South Korean electronics company is expected to highly promote its new line of smart appliances and TVs, but one rumor suggests there may be a new Android smartphone announcement as well. According to DigiTimes, LG is planning to unveil the Optimus G2 with a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display and Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon S4 Prime quad-core processor. We’ll be in attendance to report any possible smartphone or tablet announcements from LG, Sony, Samsung, Motorola and others.
