Samsung recently invaded New York’s Times Square with billboards teasing today’s Galaxy S IV announcement, but it appears LG has taken the opportunity to troll their biggest competitor with advertisements of their own. As shown in the image above, LG’s new “Optimus G is Here 4 You Now!” ad has been placed directly above Samsung’s “Be Ready 4 the Next Galaxy” billboard. While the Optimus G, not to be confused with the upgraded Optimus G Pro, is universally considered an inferior product to the upcoming Galaxy S4, we must commend LG for pranking Samsung on the day of the highly anticipated unveiling. Could this be the beginning of a cheeky marketing battle between the rival Korean handset manufacturers?
