Japan’s KDDI network will soon land the familiar Samsung Galaxy S II, but with some rather noticeable adjustments compared to Sprint’s WiMax-enabled Epic 4G Touch. The Galaxy S II WiMax ISW11SC will rock a rather large 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280×720 resolution, 4G WiMax connectivity, NFC support, and a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It will also feature the same stellar 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS that’s on all the other variants floating around. As far as looks are concerned, the giant button at the bottom is back and the back panel looks a bit different. It looks like this one will be launched on January 20th.
