In this video from CES 2013, we get a quick demo of Huawei’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 device, the Ascend W1. This smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 1.2GHz dual-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, a 5 megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and 1950mAh battery. As for aesthetics, it oddly resembles Nokia’s Lumia line of colorful Windows Phones, don’t you think? The Huawei Ascend W1 will be released in China and Russia by the end of the month, while Western Europe, Middle East, USA and other regions are scheduled to follow thereafter.
