Apparently HTC is planning to unveil the HTC Incredible HD, also known as the Mecha and Thunderbolt, in Las Vegas at CES, which is held January 6-9. A mysterious domain, which may or may not be linked to HTC, has a teaser posted of a cloaked smartphone. The caption next to the device reads, “The first to 4G, again.” As you know, the HTC EVO 4G was the first US smartphone with 4G network connectivity and the HTC G2 was the first handset on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 4G network. This time, HTC is clearly boasting of the first 4G phone on Verizon’s LTE network. It’s unanimously assumed that they will reveal the Incredible HD as this device.
